E-health

CMVH actively supports health practitioners in the deployment of new and emerging technologies and the corresponding workflows and skills required in the evolving e-Health environment. The Centre seeks to improve health care delivery systems for veterans and serving personnel through the application of state-of-the-art technology in an integrated e-Health environment.

Areas of focus include:

• Electronic Health Records
• Telehealth
• Connectivity and integration of systems (Defence & DVA)
• Health Knowledge Networks
• Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS)
• Health Surveillance Systems
• Operational Health Support Systems (OHSS)

The Adelaide Node has provided a number of subject matter experts to take part in future planning in e-health.
