Research Centre for Reproductive Health

The Research Centre for Reproductive Health is a world leader in the investigation and improvement of reproduction and reproductive health research, spanning oogenesis to post conception. The Centre’s membership comprises a number of relevant disciplines across the University from a variety of Schools and Faculties. The majority of research groups within the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are within the Research Centre for Reproductive Health.

Children's Research Centre

The Children's Research Centre unites research groups within the Discipline of Paediatrics and their affliate collaborators around common childhood disorders that cross and extend beyond traditional boundaries of paediatric specialities. The Discipline of Paediatrics is entirely located within the Women's & Children's Hospital which is the major hospital dealing with the health of women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.

Research Centre for the Early Origins of Health and Disease

The Research Centre for the Early Origins of Health and Disease (EOHaD) is a leader in the investigation of the intergenerational and perinatal origins of metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological and reproductive health in postnatal life. The Centre's membership spans disciplines from public health and epidemiology to molecular biology and epigentics and includes research groups at the University of Adelaide and their collaborators at external organisations in Australia and overseas.

Australian Research Centre for Health of Women and Babies

The Centre conducts high quality and timely maternal and perinatal research and evaluates and translates relevant evidence to promote the best health and wellbeing possible for all women and their babies.

Adelaide Research Network for Chronobiology in Health and Disease

The central aim of the Adelaide Research Network for Chronobiology in Health and Disease will be to lead research on the fundamental processes which underpin biological rhythmicity and human health.

The Adelaide Research Assay and Services Facility

The aim of the facility is to provide specialised, high-throughput, high-sensitivity biological analyte assay and other services at competitive prices for the research market in South Australia and nationally, with extension to the Asia-Pacific region in the next five years. The centre consolidates services and assays already provided by researchers in SA on a collaborative and/or commercial basis to maximise market profile, efficiency and profitability.
