AffiliationsThe School and Disciplines have many affiliations with other academic and research groups, all of which are linked on the Disciplines’ websites. Some affiliations that the School plays a major role with are: Healthy Development Adelaide (HDA) is a “research cluster” of the University of Adelaide that fosters research between various Disciplines across all 5 University Faculties. The role of HDA is to promote, facilitate and undertake research that will advance multidisciplinary understanding of healthy development by combining cognate research strengths to address high priority research issues to ensure the physical, psychological and social health of Australian infants, children and adolescents. The School is closely linked with HDA with both Disciplines involved in its establishment and activities. The Women's & Children's Hospital is the major hospital dealing with the health of women and children in Adelaide and South Australia. The Discipline of Paediatrics is entirely located within WCH and the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has a number of teaching and research areas. The WCH has a very strong affiliation with the School and there is a strong partnership in teaching and research.
