Teaching

The primary educator of the South Australian public health workforce

The Discipline of Public Health offers high quality teaching programs in Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety Management and Biostatistics.

In Public Health, undergraduates may take a major within the Bachelor of Health Sciences, which may in turn lead to an honours degree, while postgraduate students have the choice of a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master's degree in Public Health.

The Occupational Health and Safety Management program is offered to postgraduates at Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master's level.

Biostatistics is offered at Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters levels through the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia, a partnership of leading Universities training professional biostatisticians.

The Discipline has a proud record of teaching and also supervising candidates for the research degrees of Master of Medical Science and Doctor of Philosophy. Our graduates have taken leading positions in their fields both in Australia and abroad.
