Research:
Psychosocial support in breast cancer, including via the internet and through groups; family care-giving in chronic illness & disability (pain, schizophrenia, cystic fibrosis, ageing); social supports and help-giving practices (lay and professional); emotional work; work stress in human service professionals, and its management and prevention; psychological development in adulthood, including the effects of unemployment and underemployment, parenting skills training, beliefs about medicines; psychological treatments for high prevalence disorders (eg anxiety & depression) in general practice settings
