Associate Professor Chur-Hansen is a psychologist whose interests lie in the fields of medical education and health psychology.

Research:
Quantitative and qualitative research into aspects of medical education, particularly the relationship between academic and clinical performance and language and cultural background.
Health psychology, particularly the relationship of gender to health care.
Supervision of Honours, Masters and PhD students.
Supervision of fourth year undergraduate projects in medical education and health psychology.
