Research:Paul has recently returned from the UK where he has
spent 20 years in early phase drug development. In recent years he has been responsible
for running models of clinical conditions such as anxiety and pain in healthy
volunteers to profile the action of new compounds. In Adelaide, he plans to use
these techniques to search for biomarkers to predict the response to treatment
in patients with chronic pain.
Paul also has considerable expertise in the management of migraine and headache
and plans to investigate new models of health care delivery based around these
clinical conditions.
