Nursing Pharmacology

The Discipline of Pharmacology provides a considerable amount of teaching in both years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Nursing undergraduate program. In year 1, the Discipline teaches the principles of safe administration of drugs and the key factors that influence and govern the effects of drugs within the body. During year 2, the major drug classes and the diseases against which the drugs are used therapeutically are discussed.
