Undergraduate Program

The Discipline of Paediatrics is at the Women's and Children's Hospital campus of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service. The Women's and Children's Hospital is a teaching hospital of the University of Adelaide.

The Discipline contributes to  teaching of medical undergraduates in the 2nd and 5th years of their MBBS course. In fifth year, medical students attend the Women's and Children's Hospital for a nine week period.

During 4th year students may elect to undertake a Research Project with members of the Discipline. After their 3rd year there is also the opportunity to undertake a B.Med.Sci. Honours year in Paediatrics before continuing into the 4th year of medicine.
