Opportunities for Students in the Discipline of Paediatrics

Undergraduate Program

The Discipline contributes to Medical Undergraduate Teaching in the 2nd and 5th years of their MBBS course. In fifth year, the medical students attend the Women's and Children's Hospital for a nine week period.

Postgraduate Program

The Discipline currently has around 50 postgraduate students, mostly enrolled in PhD by research. Students are working in a wide variety of departments and affiliated institutions within the Women's and Children's Hospital campus of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service.

Honours Program

The Discipline offers an Honours course as part of the School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health Honours Program.  Students with Science, Health Science and Medicine backgrounds undertake a course of study leading to the degrees of  B.Health Sc. (Hons) and HB. MedSc.
