Paediatrics is the Science and Clinical Practice of Child Health

The Discipline of Paediatrics is in the School of Paediatrics & Reproductive Health, Faculty of Health Sciences in the University of Adelaide, and has its facilities entirely at the Women's and Children's Hospital campus of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service.

The Discipline has a wide range of clinical expertise and a strong commitment to clinical services in the Division of Paediatric Medicine, Children, Youth and Women's Health Service. Clinical staff provide services in Diabetes, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergy and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

The Discipline has undergraduate, honours and postgraduate teaching responsibilities, and expanding research interests. There are 35 staff in the Discipline.

The Endocrine and Diabetes Centre, the Department of Paediatric Surgery and the Research & Evaluation Unit (Children, Youth and Women's Health Service ) are associated with the Discipline of Paediatrics.
