Withdrawing enrolment

If you wish to withdraw your enrolment in a course you need to do so through Access Adelaide.

Note: you need to be aware of the critical dates involved in withdrawing as post census date you will still be liable for payment of course fees.

Remission of Commonwealth Assistance and recredit of Student Learning Entitlement

If you cannot withdraw before the critical dates due to special circumstances or administrative error you may be eligible for remission of fees and recredit of student learning entitlement.

Refund of tuition fees in special circumstances

This policy applies to international and domestic, undergraduate and postgraduate fee-paying students who have paid tuition fees for a course or courses and who seek, after the Census date, a refund of the amount paid because special circumstances prevented them from completing the requirements of the course(s).

Leave of Absence

If you will not be enrolling in any courses for a period of six months or longer you will need to apply for Leave of Absence through the Faculty. Contact Maree Balanzategui, Manager Academic Programs, telephone: 8303 4085. Formal approval in writing must be obtained before a student can undertake leave of absence from their program of study.

You will need to be aware of the University policy on leave of absence at this may affect your decision.
