Available Honours Projects

The six Disciplines that make up the School of Medicine will be running a combined Honours Program (pdf 276kB) in 2009 (ie the Disciplines of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Medicine, Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Surgery and Psychiatry). The project proposals that supervisors have submitted for the School of Medicine Honours Projects in 2009 are given in the Higher Degrees Research Project booklet  (pdf 1MB). Please come to the Information Evening (pdf 1MB) on Thursday 18 September 2008, 5 pm to 6 pm.

Research in the School covers a broad spectrum of interests. Supervisors of the listed research projects are drawn from both staff and affiliates of the School located at The Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Hanson Institute in the city and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Basil Hetzel Institute at Woodville.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation provides scholarships for Honours students as does the Hanson Institute (pdf 114kB)

Further information can also be obtained from the Honours coordinators Dr Chris Rayner or Dr Christine Feinle-Bisset  or from individual supervisors.
