Honours
Honours opportunities for 2008 are available to students undertaking health science research in the Faculty of Health Sciences and affiliated institutions.
To be eligible to be admitted to an Honours program, a candidate shall complete the requirements for a Bachelor degree or equivalent to a standard which is acceptable to the Faculty for the purposes of admission into the Honours program.

Bachelor of Health Sciences and MBBS students applying for Honours in the Medical School must complete an application form, which includes approval from the relevant Head of School and the Supervisor.
The Honours Degree of Bachelor of Medical Sciences (HB.MedSc) is a program of study available only to students who have passed the Third Year Examination for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours) degree offers an opportunity to explore in some depth a specific aspect of dentistry, or a discipline related to dentistry, that particularly interests you. It is a research-based degree, so the main component of the program is a research project, leading to the production of a research report or thesis. Honours programs in dentistry require commitment on your part and a mature approach to learning. You will be guided and supported by your supervisor(s) but the onus is on you to be organised and self-directed in your studies. for further information go to the School of Dentistry Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours) website.
Bachelor of Health Science Honours
A candidate may, subject to the approval of the Head of the School concerned, undertake an Honours degree in one of the following specialty areas:
