Multi-media interactive learning resources

The HEDI team has developed a series of interactive learning guides to enable students to undertake self directed learning in addition to the curriculum. The Inferior Alveolar Nerve Block guide provides a detailed animation of the technique used in the administration of LA and is complementary to the LA4 video. The Maxillary Infiltration Interactive learning guides provides students with detailed animations exploring pain transmission, nerve types, nerve conduction and the effect of LA. This learning guide is complementary to the LA2 video. The interactive TMJ learning guides directs students through the anatomical structures of this complex joint. The Permanent and Primary Dentition learning guides provide interactive tutorials for students, using FDI notation with emphasis on crown morphology.
