Future Students

The Faculty of Health Sciences provides undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional education in Dentistry, Medicine, Psychology, Nursing and related health sciences at a standard comparable to that of the world's leading schools. It aims to advance the knowledge of health through research and scholarship of a high international standard, attract and retain the most intellectually able and most caring students, and produce excellent graduates. The Faculty is comprised of the Dental School and the Medical School. Each school has a long and distinguished history of teaching and research and is recognised both nationally and internationally as leading schools in the development of modern, clinically relevant dental and medical programs. The Medical School offers a range of specialty areas providing considerable scope for postgraduate learning. Health is influenced by many factors in our society and is underpinned by knowledge that ranges from the social to the molecular, so other programs reflect the fact that health care goes beyond the work done by doctors, nurses, psychologists and dentists.
