Congratulations to Ms Yi Jiang who has been awarded the Herbert Gill-Williams Scholarship for 2008. Yi is currently investigating the possible citrullination of human alpha-enolase by the oral pathogen Porphyromonas gingiavlis under the supervision of Drs Neville Gully and Elizabeth Farmer

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Seerone Anandarajah has been awarded the 2007 Trebitsch grant from the Australian Dental Research Foundation. Seerone, who is undertaking a concurrent Honours degree, will be investigating the nature and expression of the post translational modifications to HSP60 and HSP70 in Fusobacterium nucleatum.

Congratulations to Dr Ying Guo who graduated with first class Honours in December 2007. At the Graduation Dinner Ying was awarded the Moore Medal.

The Oral Microbiology group welcomes Dr Elizabeth Farmer.

 

The Oral Microbiology group regularly offers Proteomics courses.
