Computing Services
UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE
Computing facilities are provided to students by the University. The University web site has a list of computer labs.
MEDICAL SCHOOL
There is a computer lab located in the Medical School South room S118. This facilitiy is available to all students of the Faculty of Health Sciences for general computer use except when it is being used for a teaching class.
ROYAL ADELAIDE HOSPITAL
RAH nurses may use the RAH library computers.

STUDENT EMAIL
The University has provided you with an email service as a reliable means of electronic communication with academic and administrative staff, as well as your fellow students.
It is essential that you regularly read your email as important information will be sent to you from both academic and administrative staff. You should read these pages carefully so that you understand how to make best use of the University's email service.
INTERNET ACCESS
See the Student Net Access Plan site for information about the University's Internet use facilties. All students receive an Internet usage allocation each semester for University related access. Students can purchase additional allocations as required.
Due to statutory requirements, students under the age of 18 years who wish to have access to the wider Internet must provide written consent from a parent, teacher or other responsible adult.
STUDENT DIALUP SERVICES
8124 8124
The University of Adelaide provides a free Dialup Service for access to the University's online resources from home computers. By configuring your computer and modem to dialup using this number, you can access University resources for the cost of a local call.
