Frank has published 1 book (MD thesis), three book chapters and full conference papers, authored or co-authored five full peer-reviewed papers, ten peer reviewed letters / case reports or non-peer reviewed full papers as well as 29 peer -reviewed published or unpublished conference abstracts. Frank is an active member of Clinical Paleopathology Unit, Orthopedic University Clinic Balgrist, Zurich. He is also a Research Fellow of MRI Unit, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide and a Research Fellow of Institute for the History of Medicine, University of Zurich
