The Faculty of Health Sciences Development and Alumni is committed to
presenting a coordinated, professional approach that delivers innovative and effective programs that engage Schools, Disciplines, their students, staff and alumni, and achieves desirable and valued results for the University community.
The Faculty of Health Sciences is pleased to introduce Mark Andersson, our newly appointed Faculty Development and Alumni officer. The Faculty Development and Alumni officer can be contacted by all Faculty of Health Sciences alumni to provide assistance, information and support on:
Who is an Alumnus?
You are an alumnus if you are or have been a:
- University of Adelaide graduate
- University of Adelaide current student
- University of Adelaide past student
- University of Adelaide current staff member
- University of Adelaide past staff member
Individuals and organistations, which are not included in the alumni definition, but engage with and support both alumni and University programs, are 'Friends of the University of Adelaide'.
Staying Connected
Development and Alumni provide many meaningful ways to stay involved in the University community no matter where you are.
- Groups of like-minded alumni gather all over the world in alumni networks. Join an existing network or start your own!
- To continue and build on our excellence, we need to invest in vitally important resources. You can lend financial support to the University as a gift, bequest, scholarship or award.

Stay in touch with old friends and be kept up to date with the latest developments at the University of Adelaide by joining our new online community Adelaide onLION launching 1st July 2008.

Alumni Privileges
Registered Alumni with current details are entitled to the following privileges:
- Connect with old friends and classmates through reunions, University and alumni events.
- Keep up to date with news and current events from the University of Adelaide through the alumni specific publication Lumen, via the on-line newsletter Adelaide-link and through the Adelaidean.
- After-hours Parking Permits are available to alumni and friends of the University. This permit allows you to park on the North Terrace campus between 4.30pm and 9.00am Monday to Friday and all day weekends and public holidays.
- Enjoy borrowing rights at the Barr Smith Library at a reduced annual rate.
- Bridge the gap in your skills or enhancing your existing qualifications with Professional and Continuing Education courses run by the University of Adelaide.
- Access exclusive special offers in arts and entertainment.
